Obituary

Aaron Harold Sellers, age 86, of Baxley passed away Sunday, February 3rd at West View Nursing Home in Port Wentworth, Ga. after an extended illness. He was a native of Appling County, son of the late Aaron Sellers and Ida Mae Thomas Sellers and was preceded in death by two brother– in-laws, Pat Quattlebaum and Norman McKinney, three son-in-laws, Richard Anderson, Gerald Clipp and Jay Chesser. Harold served in the US Army during WWII and was a member of Satilla Baptist Church in Appling County.

Survivors include his wife, Annie Merle Wynn Sellers of Rincon, three sons, Alton Sellers (Diane) of Savannah, Ga., Ronald Sellers (Carol) of Richmond Hill, Ga., & Michael Sellers (Ginger) of Ennis, TX., three daughters, Gwendolyn Stinson of Ft. Meade, FL., Mary Sellers of Rincon, Ga., & Marilyn Howard (Jimmy) of Guyton, Ga., two brothers, Dwight Sellers of Alma & Max Sellers of Rincon, Ga., two sisters, Anita Quattlebaum & Marilyn McKinney both of Baxley, 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren survive.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Feb. 6th at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Sellers officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Lawn Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Wednesday
from 1:00 PM until funeral time.

Grandsons will serve as active pallbearers. All others in attendance will be considered honorary pallbearers.
