Alfred Cecil Anderson, 84, of Alma passed away on September 4, 2021, surrounded by loved ones. Born in Bacon County on February 8, 1937 to Alfred Cecil Anderson, Sr. and Quessie Carter Anderson. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Wayne Anderson.

Alfred served in the United States Army and retired from Motor Convoy in 1994. He is also a member of Teamster Union 512 in Jacksonville, Florida.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Caroline Lambertson Anderson of Alma; two sons, Bruce Carter Anderson (Kim) of Jacksonville, FL and Alan Anderson (Rebecca) of Callahan, FL.; four grandchildren, Kyle (Brandi), Andy, Bridget and Duane Anderson and three great-grandchildren, Carter, Easton and Brooke Anderson.

Memorialization is by Cremation. The family will hold a celebration of life service at a later date.
