Aliene Marie Turner, age 82, of Alma passed away at her residence on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 after an extended illness. She was born in Pierce County on April 21, 1937 to Kelly Turner and Alice Aspinwall Turner. Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William Lamar Thompson, sons, Billy Ray Thompson and Michael Thompson, brother, Ward Turner and sisters, Oletha Purvis and Thetus Raulerson.

Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Thompson of Alma, two sisters, Clara Carter of Alma and Betty Tillman of Garden City, GA. and several nieces.

Private graveside service will be held Friday, April 17 ^th at 2:00 PM at Shiloh Cemetery in Blackshear, GA. with Bishop Woodrow Jarrett officiating.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
