Allen Craig Medders, age 67, of Alma passed away suddenly July 6, 2022 at the Bacon County Hospital. He was born in Ware County on July 30, 1954 to James Walter Medders and Valdese Hodge Gettys. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother James Medders. He was retired from Milliken after 48 years of employment.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Sharon Graham Medders; four children, Ryan (Leah) Medders of Soperton, Stacey (Candance) Medders of Alma, Alison (John) Hancock of Brunswick and Tara Herrin of Jesup; three brothers, Gary (Linda) Medders of Auburn, Neil (Debra) Medders and Timothy (Kelly) Medders and sister, Margaret (Danny) Bruner of Alma; 10 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and sister-in-law, Hilda Medders of Baxley.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 9 ^th at 3:00 PM at Campground United Methodist Church with Pastor Steve Beal officiating.
