Angela "Angie" Dixon Cox, age 50, of Alma passed away August 9, 2024 after a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late Mickey Dixon and Alice Crosby Dixon and granddaughter of the late Mason and Iris Dixon and Calvin and Nadine Byrd and Ralph Crosby.

Survivors include her daughter Mattie Cox (Kevonta Merritt)); granddaughter, Alora Merritt; sister, Amy Gilliard (Jason);  grandmother, Dellama Crosby; niece, Hannah Nobles & family; nephew, Grant Gilliard & family; aunts and uncles, Eva Johson & family, Janice Gilliard (Loy) & family, Steve Byrd (Dorcell) & family, Jim Bryd (Melba) & family, the family of her late uncle and aunt, Glenn and Brenda Crosby and special friend, March Clifton.

A memorial service will be held Friday, August 16, 2024 at 6:00 PM at New Vision Church Cemetery.
