Anita Deen Norris, age 76, of Alma passed away suddenly June 29, 2022 at the Bacon County Hospital. She was a native of Bacon County and daughter of the late Felder Eugene Deen and Georgia Lee Smart Deen. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a grandson, James Hensley Hale, III, brother, Thomas David Deen and sister  Judy Ivey.

Survivors include four children, Joseph Rodney (Brenda) Deen of Fitzgerald, Leslie (Tracy) Norris of Fleming, Johnny Norris of Alma and Debra (James) Hale of Oklahoma; two brothers, Jimmy (Sandra) Deen of Alma and Billy Deen of Fernandina Beach; 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held for Mrs. Norris at a later date.
