Mary Anita Deen Welty, age 62, passed away suddenly at her residence on Monday, January 6, 2020. She was born in Bacon County on April 18, 1957 and was daughter of the late Walter George Deen, Sr. Besides her father she was preceded in death by her father-in-law John Welty and mother-in-law Pauline Welty.

Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Randy Welty of Baxley, GA. her mother, Ann Robertson Deen of Alma, three brothers, Walter George Deen, Jr. (Debra) of Locust Grove, GA., Paul Deen (Debbie) and David Deen of Alma, brother–in-law, Keith Welty (Vicki) of Canton, Michigan, sister-in-law Karen Welty of Baxley, GA., niece, Jennifer Lynn Deen of Alma and nephews, Seth Lane Welty of Canton, Michigan and Aaron Reese Welty of Washington, DC.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 9 ^th from 6 to 8 PM at Crosby Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held Friday, January 10 ^th at 11:00 AM at Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. R. B. Gaskins officiating.
