Eugenia Ann Medders Morris, age 59, of Alma passed away at her residence suddenly November 24, 2023. She was a native of Bacon County and daughter of the late Aubrey F. Medders, Sr. and Christeen Cain Medders.

Survivors include her husband, Dale Morris; two children, Christy Chaffin and Morris Chaffin, III; seven grandchildren, Ridge Lewis, Gracie Chaffin McElroy, Gavin Chaffin McElroy, Harrison Driggers, Maci Chaffin and Victoria Kate Chaffin; four brothers, Aubrey Medders, Jr., Johnny Medders (Lori), Gary Medders (Ellie) and Danny Medders and three sisters, Erma Jean Orr, Libby Lassiter (David) and Nora Kay Medders.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 1, 2023 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Pastor Jack Nettles and Pastor Charles Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Unity Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6 to 8 PM.

Active pallbearers will be Ridge Lewis, Brent Lassiter, Trace Medders, Jake Allday, Josh Allday and Jacob Tanner. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
