Obituary

Annie Merle Sellers, age 91, of Rincon, Georgia passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at The Place in Pooler, Georgia after a short illness. She was born in Alma on January 27, 1928 to the late Jule Wynn and Mary Bell Sowell Walker. Her husband Aaron Harold Sellers and three brothers, Homer Wynn, Vernon Wynn and Paul Wynn preceded her in death. She was a member of Goshen Baptist Church in Rincon, Georgia.

Survivors include six children, Alton Sellers (Diane) of Savannah, GA., Ronald Sellers (Carol) of Richmond Hill, GA., Michael Sellers (Ginger) of Ennis, TX., Gwendolyn Chesser of Lakeland, FL., Mary Sellers of Rincon, GA. and Marilyn Howard (Jimmy) of Guyton, GA., two sisters, Frances Harris of Little Rock, AR. And Katherine Henderson, 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at 12:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Sellers officiating and eulogies given by Steve Chesser. Interment will follow in Pine Lawn Cemetery.  The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 11:00 AM until funeral time.

Active pallbearers will be; Jeff Sellers, Stephen Sellers, Steve Chesser, Jay Chesser, Ronald Sellers and Travis Sellers. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.
