Annie Bell Woodard, age 75, of Nicholls passed away Sunday, May 15th at Community Hospice in Vidalia, Georgia after a short illness. She was a native of Ware County and daughter of the late James Dalton Dyal and Sally Jewell Greer Dyal. Annie was preceded in death by a brother Curtis Dyal and a grandson Jason Sammy Woodard. She was a member of College Avenue Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Johnnie David Woodard of Nicholls, two sons, Sammy Woodard (Vickey) of Reidsville, Georgia and Wendell Woodard (Linda Faye) of Nicholls, one daughter Melinda Gieger of Alma; also 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 18th at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Mercer and Rev. Eddis Kirkland officiating. Interment will follow in Reddy Branch Baptist Church in Broxton, GA. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 to 9 PM.

Active pallbearers will be; Donald Greer, Jason Gilliard, James Young, Ricky Woodward, Jeffery Greer and Junior Rollins. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.
