Anthony Leon Cothern, age 47, passed away suddenly August 22, 2023. He was a native of Bacon County and son of the late Leland Cothern and Sherry Riggins Cothern.

Survivors include three children, Cody Blake Cothern of Alma, Sarah Amber Cothern (Dawson Barron) of Dexter, GA. and Myranda Cortney Cothern of Madison, AL; one grandson, L. J. Cothern of Madison, AL; two brothers, Randy Leon Cothern of Alma and Shaun Riggins (Terry) of St. Mary's, GA; one sister, Tina Melissa Stephens (Jamie) of Alma.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
