Ardelia Boatright Thomas, age 85, passed away July 16, 2026, at Twin Oaks Convalescent Center after an extended illness. She was a native of Bacon County born December 02, 1940, to the late Leroy Boatright and Altie Mae Cason Boatright. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Royce B. Thomas; brothers, Wendell, Leroy Jr., and R.O. Boatright; sisters, Ida Mae Herndon, Faye Boatright, and Dellephine Pruitt.

She worked as a seamstress for many years.

She is survived by her son, Justin Thomas (Judy); daughters, Connie Mock (Greg), Kaye Graham (Allen), and Jennifer Harris; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday July 20, 2026, at 11 AM in the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Davis officiating. A private interment will follow at Big Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 10 AM until service time.
