Arlene Wade Good, age 91, of Alma passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Twin Oaks Nursing Home after an extended illness. She was born in Alma, Georgia on March 12, 1926 to the late Payton L. Wade and Mamie Sweat Wade; besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Obed Good, five brothers, Marvin Wade Harold Wade Clayton Wade, A. C. Wade and J. B. Wade and three sisters, Leola Hyers, Jessie Mae Carter and Luna White. Arlene was a member of the Alma First Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Larry Porter (April) of Fuquay Varina, NC., Lynn Porter and Bruce Porter (Holly) both of Alma, 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and a sister-in-law, DeWayne Wade of Alma.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 22 ^nd from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Crosby Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 11:30 AM at Corinth Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Turner officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to: First Baptist Church Building Fund 301 West 9 ^th Street Alma, Georgia 31510.

Active pallbearers will be; Larry Porter, Lynn Porter, Bruce Porter, Jeremy Porter, Seth Ford and Reid Jackson.
