Obituary
Arnold Clayton Wade, age 73, of Alma passed away Wednesday, December 17th at the Bacon County Hospital after a short illness. He was a native of Bacon County and son of the late Clayton Wade and Sidney Jarrard Williams.
Survivors include two sons, Desmond & Jason Wade, two daughters, Lorna Lewis (Mike) and Cheri Swails (Michael) of Alma, three brothers, Donald Wade (Jo Ann) and Ronald Wade (Martha) of Alma and Gerald Wade (Dian) of Forney, TX., three sisters, Julia Harris of Baxley, Beulah Meadows of Alma and Eula Chancey (Billy) of Mershon; also 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 20th at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Mac Dyal and Rev. Danny Turner officiating. Interment will follow in Corinth Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Friday from 6 to 9 PM.
Active pallbearers will be; Blaine & Jason Wade, Michael Wood, Aron & Mike Lewis, Jerid Taft, Amanda Wade & Kristin Lewis. Honorary pallbearers will be; Staff & Residents of Twin Oaks Nursing Home.
Crosby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
