Audrey Carter Steedley, age 91, of Alma, died Tuesday December 22, 2020 at Satilla Hospice in Waycross, Georgia after a short illness. She was a native of Bacon County and the daughter of the late Elisha and MyNola Williams Carter. Besides her parents she was preceded by two sisters, Norene Barber and Pauline Fowler, and a son-in-law Dennis Cromer.

She was a member of Oak Hill Free Will Baptist Church in Alma, Georgia.

Survivors include her husband of 71 years Zeak Steedley, 2 sons, Ricky Steedley (Louise) and Bryan Steedley, and 5 daughters, Tanya Foskey (Tom), Lila Cromer, Elsie Sellers (Judo), Julie Mullis (Steve), and Lisa Robinson (Tony) all of Alma, 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday December 26 ^th at 2pm at Oak Hill Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Lance McCarty officiating. A pass-through visitation will take place from 1 until 2 pm at Oak Hill Free Will Baptist Church.

Active pallbearers will be grand and great grandsons.

Facemasks and social distancing are required during visitation and funeral services.
