Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Cauley Boyd, age 72 will be conducted Monday, June 27, 2022 at 3 P.M. in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Milledgeville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 2 P.M. until the service hour. Interment will take place at 10 A.M. on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 in the Pine Level Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in  Alma, Ga.

Mrs. Boyd was a native of Alma and attended Bacon County High School and Thompson County High School, she was a graduate of Georgia College and the Georgia Banking School at University of Georgia. She worked as a Mortgage Loan Officer, Mortgage Underwriter and Loan Compliance until she retired on July 1, 2021. She enjoyed traveling with family and friends, reading, cooking and caring for her plants and pets. She most loved spending time with her grandsons.

She was predeceased by her father, Virgil Grady Cauley, mother, Ruby Lee Bagley Cauley, stepmother, Lillie Aruex Haseldon Cauley; a daughter, Cheryl Leigh Boyd and her former husband Tom Boyd.

Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Quintero (Michael) of McDonough; grandsons, Zachary and Cameron Quintero; sisters, Karen Joyner (Tony) and Brenda Turner (Craig) of Blackshear, and Susan Tucker (David) of Alma; a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of local arrangements.
