Barbara Tanner, of Midway, Georgia passed suddenly at home, June 8, 2020 following complications from years of diabetes. She was born in Plainfield, New Jersey to William J. Ruckels and Pauline A. Weiler Ruckels.

Mrs. Barbara was a retired Registered Nurse and was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby Tanner of Midway, GA.; two children, Jamie Greene and Tammy Greene; a sister, Laura Ruckels and a grandson, Brendon Griffith and the entire Tanner family including brother in law, Mitchell Tanner (Deborah), sister in laws Ann Carroll, Mary Brooks (Ferrell), Joan Green (Lewis), Martha Cothern (Donald) and Stephanie Gilliard (Timmy).

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
