Benjamin "Ben" Allen, age 58, of Alma passed away at his residence on May 26, 2022 after an extended illness. He was born in Bacon County on November 6, 1963 to Jeffey Allen and Eloise Cribb Carter. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by four grandchildren, Brandon, Nicholas, Alley and Jayla and sister Evonne Allen. He was a member of the Harvest Church in Nicholls.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Susan Williams Allen of Alma; five children, Chris Martin (Jill) of New Mexico, Corey Martin (Mellissa) of Alma, Mandy Allen Cray (Ladonis) of Hazlehurst, Pamela Tatum (Joshua) and Staci Crosby (Gerald) of Alma; brothers, Charles Allen of Fernandina, Stevie Allen (Lara) and Quincey Allen (Delane) of Baxley and Joe Allen (Belinda) Alma; sisters, Carolyn Trowell (Joe) and Glenda Dyal of Alma and Brenda Greer (Donald) of Pembroke; 10 grandchildren, Tailor Lee, Austin Martin, Caleb Martin, Drew Martin, Trent Hardy, Ashlyn Martin, Page Martin, Bryse Crosby, Jordan Martin and Angel Cray and 10  great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 29 ^th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Pastor Javaris Wright officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until funeral time.

Active pallbearers will be; Caleb Martin, Trent Hardy, Jordan Martin, Bryse Crosby, Josh Tatum and Ladonis Cray. Honorary pallbearers will be: Roy Wayne Register, Jr, Braxton Mattox, Alan Bower and Johnny Register.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to: Crosby Funeral Home 207 West 12 ^th St. Alma, GA. 31510 to help with funeral expenses.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
