Benjamin Stanely Tanner, age 66, of Alma passed away at the Bacon County Hospital on Sunday, June 26, 2022 after an extended illness. He was a native of Bacon County and son of the late Benjamin Warnie Tanner and Wilma Cribb Tanner. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Lyman Dewey Tanner and Timmy Keith Tanner.

He is survived by two children Duran Tanner and wife Tracey and Emily Long and husband Matthew both of Kingsland; sister, Shirley Adams and husband Sonny of Nicholls and four grandchildren, Britt and Hannah Anderson, Megan and Kelly Tanner.

A memorial service will be held Friday, July 1 ^st at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Hutcheson and Rev. Tommy James officiating.

Memorialization will be by cremation.
