Benji Parkerson, age 63, of Nicholls passed away suddenly September 17, 2024 at his residence after an extended illness. He was born November 14, 1960 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was preceded in death by his father, Lowell Benjamin Parkerson, Jr., brother, Steve Parkerson and sister, Janice Stutts.

Mr. Parkerson was a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include his wife Wilvelyn Parkerson, his mother, Latine Bagley Beauregard; five children, B. J. Parkerson (Candance), Jeremy Parkerson (Edith), Nathanial Parkerson, Breanna Parkerson and Angel Parkerson; three brothers, Tony Parkerson (Kathi), Lynn Meeks and Michael Parkerson; two sisters, Beverly Mahurin (E.J.) and Kathy Morlan; and 7 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Saturday, September 21, 2024 at the funeral home from 6 to 8 PM.

Cremation will follow the visitation.A celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St Paul Catholic Church 4178 US-441 Douglas, Georgia 31535.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
