Bernard Clinton Lewis, age 78, of Alma passed away May 31st at Haven Hospice in Orange Park, Florida after an extended illness He was a native of Coffee County but had lived in Alma for many years. Bernard was son of the late Clinton H. Lewis and Oletha Johnson Lewis. He served in the U S Air Force for 11 years.

Survivors include a son Clint Lewis, Jr. (Amanda) of Orange Park, FL., two brothers, Wayne Lewis of Alma and Benjie Lewis (Sybil) of Blackshear, three sisters, Gail Douglas (Wesley) of Middleburg, FL., Joan Taylor (Gerald) of Blountsville, AL., Cathy Lewis (Mike) of Hartwell, GA., and two grandsons, Tyler and Brennen Lewis of Orange Park, FL.

A memorial service will be held Monday, June 9th at 2:00 PM at Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. Mike Aldridge officiating.
