Obituary
Betty (Sue) Burch Ellis, age 59, of Nicholls passed away Monday, November 25th at the Bacon County Hospital after an extended illness. She was a native of Coffee County and daughter of the late Toby Burch. Sue was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael Burch and Ned Carmichael and a sister, Charlotte Castlemen.
Survivors include her mother and step father, Betty Tanner Carmichael and Bob Carmichael of Alma, one son, Donny Burch (Courtney) of Nicholls, daughter, Christia Williams (Jeremy) of Adel, two brothers, Ronnie Burch of Nicholls and Glynn Burch of Douglas, sister, Norma Jean Carmichael of Nicholls, a dear friend, Johnny Ellis of Nicholls and five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 30th at 2:00 PM at New Vision Church with Rev. Pet Hayes and Rev. Adam Henderson officiating.
Crosby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
