Betty Ann Tanner Carmichael, age 85, of Nicholls, Georgia passed away Friday, October 18, 2019 at Harborview Satilla Nursing Home after an extended illness. She was daughter of the late Luther Vincent Tanner and Lula Mae Jordan Tanner. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Bob Ned Ivan Carmichael, son Ned Carmichael, daughter Betty Sue Burch Ellis, brothers Junior, Quinn and Robert Tanner, sisters Pansy Taylor, Clara Rowell and Hazel Williams. She was a member of the Nicholls Church of God.

Survivors include two children Ronnie Burch (Debra) of Nicholls, GA. and Norma Jean Carmichael (Paul Sears) of Waycross, GA., 4 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Graveside services will be held Monday, October 21 ^st at 2:00 PM at Hall Cemetery with Rev. Kevin Tanner and Rev. Dewayne Tanner officiating.
