Betty Nell Davis Meadows, age 89, of Brunswick passed away December 9, 2022, at her residence after an extended illness. Born November 3, 1933 in Bacon County to the late Roosevelt Davis and Rita Burkhalter Davis. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Lara Ann Meadows and two sisters, Rosie Crummey and Brenda Gail Neald.

Mrs. Meadows was a retired Beautician, was a member of the College Place United Methodist Church in Brunswick and the Fellowship Sunday School Class. She worked at Caldwell Bank as a Licensed Real Estate Agent.

Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Patrick Meadows, Sr; three children, Patrick Meadows, Jr. (Mayme), Kelly Mitchell Meadows of Brunswick and Sharon Gail Ritchey of St. Simons; three grandchildren, Patrick Meadows, III of Brunswick, Lily and Riley Ritchey of St. Simons; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Ryan Lamb officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 1:00 PM until service time.

Active pallbearers will be; Patrick Meadows, III, Al Meadows, Doug Harris, Michael Harris, Jay Overstreet, Matthew Harris and Henry Crummey. Fellowship Methodist Sunday School Class of College Place United Methodist Church will serve as honorary escorts.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
