Betty Mulligan Sharer, age 74, of Nicholls passed away suddenly at her residence on Wednesday, February 13, 2019. She was daughter of the late Charles Mulligan and Beulah May Tracey Minich and preceded in death by a grandson, James Roper.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, John Edward Sharer of Nicholls, GA., three children, Melissa Lois Roper of Aniston, AL., John Edward Sharer, Jr. (Jillian) and Tressa Marie Wallingford (Joseph) both of St. Augustine, FL., two brothers, Charles Mulligan (Donna Sue) of Hagerstown, MD., George Mulligan (Becky) of Martinsburg, WV., one sister, Bessie Coleman of Clarksville, TN., 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
