Beverly Ann Katto Converse, age 78, of Port St. Lucie, Florida passed away suddenly Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center. Beverly was born in Alma, Georgia on October 29, 1939 to the late Bennie Katto and Lollie Taylor Katto. She was a member of New Union Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 37 years, James Converse of Port St. Lucie, FL., three children, Christopher Kaylor  (Trina) of Nashville, TN., Cindy Kaylor (Bill O'Dwyer) of Jupiter, FL and Julie Kaylor (Michael Madison) of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and their father, Ronald Kaylor of Brevard, NC., and four grandchildren, Collin O'Dwyer, Ansley King, Will Kaylor and Megan Kaylor.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 22 ^nd at 11:00 AM at New Union Baptist Church with Rev. Edmund Thrift officiating. Interment will follow in Taylor Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Friday from 6 to 9 PM.

Active pallbearers will be; Bill O'Dwyer, Larry Smith, Tommy Roppe, Jimmy Roppe, Will Kaylor and Collin O'Dwyer.  The Class of 1959 will serve as honorary escorts.
