Bobbie Marcellese Medders Altman, age 87, of Brunswick, Georgia passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at the Southeast Georgia Health Systems in Brunswick after an extended illness. She was born in Alma, Georgia on January 19, 1932 to the late Judson Y. Medders and Billie Drummond Medders. Baby Altman and a sister, Carolyn J. Cowart preceded her in death. She was a retired hairdresser, an avid read and loved to travel. She attended the First Baptist Church of Brunswick, Georgia.

Ms. Altman is survived three children, Captain Gary Altman (Rhonda), Marsha Troupe (Bobby) and Glenn Altman (Linda) all of Brunswick, Georgia, one sister, Alynda McLean (James) of Alma, Georgia, her longtime friend, Michael Richmond of Brunswick, Georgia, five grandchildren, Judge Bart Altman (Laurie), Tiffany Chernault (Bobby), Melissa Clark, Robby Altman Scott Altman (Christy), two step-grandchildren, Joette Turner (Sam) and Luke Wood (Kelli), 14 great grandchildren, 4 step great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 28 ^th at 1:00 at Unity Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Riley and Judge Bart Altman officiating.
