Obituary

Bobby Allard Bagley, Sr. passed away July 19, 2025, after a short illness. He was born April 29, 1948, in Bacon County to the late Allard Isacc Bagley and Essie D. Rigby Bagley. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Raleigh Lee Tanner; great grandson, Everett Elijah Dobbins; brothers, Benny Jackson Hatten and John William Bagley; sister, Sarah Lynn Stewart.

He served in the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War.

He was also a member of New Union Church for many years.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Pauline Rewis Bagley; son, Bobby Bagley, Jr (Aleisha) of Nicholls; daughters, Lisa Gruszka (Daniel), of Nicholls and Kathy Dobbins (Glenn), of Nicholls; one brother Jimmy Bagley (Linda) of Alma; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 24, 2025, at 11 AM at New Union Church with Rev. Jonathon Smith and Rev. Owen Atha officiating. Interment will follow with military honors at Old Pine Grove Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Wednesday, July 23 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.

Active pallbearers include Glenn Dobbins, Samuel Tanner, Jacob Tanner, Cooper Gruszka, Trever Gruszka, and Bobby Bagley.

Honorary pallbearers include Dusty Lee, Jason Medders, Alex Woodard, Brian Bagley, Terry and Mack Griffin, JoAnn Barber, and Joshua Spivey.

Crosby Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
