Bobby Carlos Kirkland, age 80, of Nicholls passed away at Coffee Regional Medical Center on Friday, October 25, 2019 after an extended illness. He was born on February 12, 1939 in Coffee County to Jiles Kirkland and Mamie Taylor Kirkland. Besides his parents a brother Tommy Kirkland and a sister Merle Thomas preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Judy Dyal Kirkland, two children Jan Stevens (Howell) and Scheryl Murray (Randy Meeks), brother Ronnie Kirkland (Betty Jo), two sisters, Judy Thompson (Roger) and Jean Milligan all of Nicholls, 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 29 ^th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy James officiating. Interment will follow in Roberts Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Monday evening form 6 to 9 PM.

Active pallbearers will be; Steve Thompson, Allen Thompson, Stacy Kirkland, David Taylor, Gary Snipes and Darrell Taylor. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.
