Bonnie Sue Williams, age 79, of Alma passed away October 30, 2023 at the Bacon County Hospital after a short illness. She was daughter of the late Loy Williams and Mamie Clements Williams. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters, Lillie Williams, Jackie Bagley and Jeannine Taylor and brother, Delmus Williams.

Mrs. Bonnie retired from the Alma Telephone Company in 2010 after 47 years of service. She was a member of New Vision Church.

Survivors include a sister, Cathy Burnett (Larry) of Guyton and several nieces and nephews, Donna Hyers (Ronnie), Gena Jackson, Debbie Hyers and Jennifer Jones (Eugene), Marshall Thompson (Rhonda) and Greg Bagley.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 3, 2023 at 2:00 PM at New Vision Church with Rev. Bobby Bentley officiating. Interment will follow in Wesley Chapel Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6 to 9 PM.

Active pallbearers will be; Ronnie Hyers, Kyle Hyers, Bubba Thompson, Andreas Stefan, Cam McKenzie and Shane Moore. Honorary pallbearers will be; Allen Johnson Sunday School Class, Alma Telephone Company, Audrey Spell, Marvin & Charleen Deen, Gina Foskey,  Johnnie DeLettre and special cousins, Janelle Overstreet and Gloris Ann Johnson.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
