Brenda Herring, age 70, of Nicholls passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida after a brief illness. Born in Danville, Virginia on November 19, 1950 to Clarence Wiles and Hester Lewis Wiles.

Survivors include her husband John R. Herring of Nicholls; two sons, Steven Tate (Brittany) of Nicholls and Roy Tate of Tifton; one brother, Clarence Wiles, Jr. of Brandon, FL.; three sisters, Joyce Grolla of Crystal River, FL., Dale Nivens of Alabama and Peggy Bower of Homosassa Springs, FL.; 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
