Brenda Elizabeth Joyner, age 66, of Alma passed away February 21, 2022 at the Bacon County Hospital after a short illness. Born on Columbia, South Carolina on September 23, 1955 to David Miller and Ola Lucile Miller.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Fredrick Woodrow Joyner, son, Michael Joyner and great-grandchild Heavenlee Shiver.

Survivors include daughters, Crystal Taylor (Jared), Laura Spivey (Joseph) and Angela Jerell; brother, Rustin Gilbert Thompson; sisters, Von Karen Jenkins, Mander Aelethia Halverson and Patty Miller; 12 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 10:00 AM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 with Bro. Dusty Morris officiating. Cremation will follow the service.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
