Brenda Gail Maycrink, age 61, of Alma died early Tuesday morning September 15th, 2015 at the Bacon County Hospital after a short illness. She was a native of Bacon County, daughter of the late Loyd Tuten and Thelma Elizabeth Taylor Tuten and was also preceded in death by a son Paul Macrink, Jr., a sister Laverne Sermons.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Loyd Tuten (Candance) of Lejeune, N C, Anthony Wesley (Tony) Maycrink of Alma, five sisters Diane Sellers of Halifax, VA, Glenda Tanner of Hazlehurst, Shirley Paz of Baxley, Louise Nettles of Homerville and Patsy (Vicki) Tuten Lee of Jacksonville, one grandchild Kaden Tuten of Lezeune, N C.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 o'clock from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Leon Lee and Elder Robert Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening between 6 and 9 P M and will be meeting at 216 Floyd Street here in Alma. The family ask that donations may be made to Crosby Funeral Home to help with expenses.
Active pallbearers will be Michael Tuten, Chase & Chance Gilliard, Jeffery Taylor, Richard & Ricky Hersey and Eddie Sermons. All others in attendance will be considered as honorary.
