Brenda Sue Self, age 62, of Blackshear passed away November 4, 2021 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah.  Born in Grundy County, Tennessee on January 11, 1959 to Lester Lee Caldwell and Frankie Jean Smith Caldwell.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Self, Sr.; four brothers, Roy Caldwell, Lee Caldwell, Bradford Caldwell and Dean Caldwell and sister, Kathy Brown. Survivors include three children, Edward Eugene Self, Jr. (Morgan) of Florida, Lisa Harris (Steven, II) and Laura Prisoc of Blackshear; three brothers, Bill Caldwell (Glinda), Larry Caldwell of Michigan and Johnny Caldwell of Tennessee; sister, Rachel Self (Ernest) of Blackshear; eleven grandchildren, Breana, Calvin, Tyler, E.J., Joey, Preston, Logan, Raelyn, Reidgan, Reagan and Axel and three great-grandchildren, J.T., Kingston and Oliver.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 12, 2021 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6 to 8 PM.

Active pallbearers will be; Stephan Adams, Calvin Bolton, Mark Caldwell, Lopie Hernandez, Tyler Rodriquez and Joey Correll. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
