Brenda Gayle Sharp, age 74, of Alma passed away on April 19, 2021 at Twin Oaks Nursing Home after a short illness. Born in Bacon County on May 31, 1946 to James Curtis Crews, Sr. and Vera Ethel Johnson Waters. She was a member of Bacon County High School class of 1964, graduated from Ware Tech as a Beautician in 1979. She was a member of Douglas Chapel Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin O. Sharp; son, William Shan Jackson, Sr., brother, Roy Mack Crews and sister, Debbie Crews. Survivors include her daughter, Lana Thomas Lott of Alma; brothers, David Wayne Waters (Carol) of Alma, Kenny Crews (Marylyn) of Perry, FL. and James Curtis Crews, Jr. of Jacksonville, FL.; sisters, Rosie Hollis (Billy) of Thomson, GA. and Delphia Crews of Perry, FL. and three grandchildren, William Shan Jackson, Jr., Kurt Adams and Jett Lott.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at funeral home from 6 to 8 PM.

A graveside will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Pine Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Ricky Crews and Rev. Charles Hutchinson officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be; Clint Waters, Mike Key, Tim and Ryan Graves, Hunter Logan Taylor and B. J. Hollis.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
