Brian Bagley, age 52, of Alma passed away suddenly on Monday, September 23, 2019 at UF Health in Jacksonville, Florida. He was son of the late Wilfred Bronner Bagley and was born in Ware County on October 22, 1966. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bronner and Georgia Lee Bagley, maternal grandparents, Clinton and Loretta King Waldron and step grandparents, Fritz and Herta Gaul.

Brian has worked with Bacon County Sheriff Department and the Alma Police Department since 1993.

Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Shannon Curry Bagley of Alma, his mother Anna Waldron of Blackshear, stepmother Heidi Bagley of Waycross, three children John Daniel Bagley, Brileigh Bagley and Bristol Bagley of Alma, two brothers Keith Stalvey (Angela) and Mike Stalvey (Amy) of Brunswick, GA. sister, Beth Peacock (Brian) of Blackshear, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 28 ^th at 11:00 AM at New Vision Church with Rev. Donnie Durrance officiating and eulogies given by Joe Boatright and Bernard Cook. Interment will follow in Bagley Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Friday from 5 to 9 PM.

Active pallbearers will be: Scott Manning, Andre Brinson, Bernard Cook, Shane Taylor, Mark Cothern, Keith Stalvey, Mike Mahlum, Mike Hewett and Buddy Herrington. Honorary escorts will be: City of Alma Employee's, Alma Police Department and the Bacon County Sheriff's Office.
