Mr. Brought Lee, age 81, of Nicholls passed away suddenly December 19, 2022 at Satilla Hospice in Waycross. He was born in Bacon County on November 23, 1941 to Reppard Gaines Lee and Thelma Johnston Lee.

Mr. Broughton enjoyed family gatherings, riding his golf cart, working in his yard and his shop. He also loved his church and eating his sweet desserts.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Shelia Bagley Lee of Nicholls; three children, Broughton Earl Lee and Sarah of Fargo, GA., Brian Hagains and Maria and Lori Kim Lee of Alma; one brother, Jerry Lee and Jackie of Jacksonville, FL; one sister, Jurney Wade of Hilliard, FL; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Friday, December 23, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Old Pine Grove Church Cemetery with Rev. Daniel Eason and Rev. Jack Nettles officiating.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
