Carol Williford Bennett, age 67, of Blackshear passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at her residence after a short illness. She was born January 14, 1953 in Toombs County to the late Perry Williford and Sarah Arnold Williford. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, J.D. Williford and a sister Linda Duncan.  She was a member of Community Baptist Church of Blackshear.

Survivors include her three children, Jimmy Waters and wife Tara of Blackshear, GA., Tracy Belk and Wendy Waters of Douglas; brothers, Edward Williford of Brunswick, Albert Williford and Wiley Williford of Alma and Carlton Williford of Alabama; sisters, Sue Harrelson and Glenda Taylor of Alma; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

A private family memorial will be held Thursday, May 14 ^th at 12:00 PM.
