Carol Sue Johnson, age 73, of Alma died early Thursday morning January 12th, 2017 at her home. She was a native of Pittsview, Alabama, daughter of the late Terrell Hamm and Inez Guy Hamm and was also preceded in death by her husband Ervin E. Johnson. She had lived in Alma since 1991. Carol was co owner and operator of Johnson Paving in Atlanta and Alma since 1964 and was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Baxley.
Survivors include two daughters Tara Thompson Drew (Ricky) of Carlton, GA, Julie Sallet (Terrell) of Alma, two sisters Margaret Adams of Acworth, GA, Karen Ruff of Atlanta, two grandchildren Sarah Sallet and Lexie Thompson.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 2:00 o'clock at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Baxley With Brother C W Rentz and Brother Norman Carlson officiating. The family will be receiving friends at 507 Radio Station Road in Alma after the Memorial Service Saturday.
