Carolyn S. Boatright, age 90, of Alma passed away on Friday, August 16, 2019 at Twin Oaks Nursing Home after a short illness. She was daughter of the late Alfonso Johnson and Jewell Gaskins Johnson and preceded in death by her husband Darrell C. Boatright, Sr. Carolyn was a member of The Alma United Methodist Church.

Survivors include three children Darrell "Bubba" Boatright, Jr. (Marsena), Carol Wildes (Charles) of Alma and LaGena White of Jacksonville, Fl.; two grandchildren Rachel White Beasley (Zach) of Tupelo, MS and Lance White of Jacksonville, FL.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 18 ^th at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Edmund Thrift officiating. Eulogies will be delivered by several family members.  Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Sunday from 2:00 PM until funeral time 3:00 o'clock.

Active pallbearers will be Bentley Carter, Brad Taylor, Roy T. Boatright, Zach Beasley, Bill Jordan and Dusty Kinlaw.
