Carolyn Anderson Carter, age 71, of Alma passed away April 28, 2022 at her residence after an extended illness. She was born on January 18, 1951 to Mather Clayton Anderson and Esta Mae White Anderson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brother, Lawrence Anderson and grandparents, Felton and Ida Mae White. She was a member of the Elim Holiness Church.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Tillman Lamar Carter; two sisters, Joan Anderson Starling (Allen) and Resah Anderson Coleman (Roland); several nieces, nephews and close friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 2, 2022 at Crosby Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Funeral services will follow immediately after in the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Carter officiating. Interment will follow in Roberts Cemetery.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
