Carolyn Patricia "Pat" Hill, age 68, of Mershon passed away at her residence on Friday, August 2, 2019 after a short illness. She was born on September 21, 1950 in Bacon County to Alfred Parnell "Shug" Smith, Sr. and Sarah LaForest "Jones" Smith. Her daughter Jeana Hill Thornton preceded her in death. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, James "Jimmy" Leroy Hill, daughter Kim Connell (Chad) of Mershon, GA., sister Pam McCrea (Stanley) of Orange Park, FL. five grandchildren, Skyla Griffin, Michael Thornton, Libbie and Abbie Hayes and Mackenzie Connell, three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

The family will be receiving friends at the funeral Sunday, August 4 ^th from 6 to 9 PM.

Memorial services will be held Monday, August 5 ^th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. R. B. Gaskins, Rev. Donnie Mullis and Rev. Mike Aldridge officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be; Satilla Hospice Staff and all Medical Staff that treated Mrs. Pat.
