Cecil Eugene Hall, age 85, of Alma passed away August 7, 2022 at his residence after an extended illness. He was a native of Bacon County and son of the late Eddie Hall and Sennie Hall. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Judy Boatright Hall, brother, Johnny Hall, and five sisters, Bernice King, Maudine Cribb, Frances Beckham, Myrtle Durrance and Lulla Boatright.

Mr. Cecil was retired from the City of Brunswick and was a member of the Jesus Church.

Survivors include his sister, Martha Simmons and nephew, Bubba Simmons of Alma.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Jesus Church in Scuffletown wth Rev. Jason King and Richard "Tad" Medders officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday at the church from 10:00 AM until funeral time.

Active pallbearers will be: Marvin Simmons, Duck Simmons, Jamie Simmons, Bobby Boatright, Larry Boatright and Kyle Boatright. Honorary pallbearers will be; Vernon Boatright, Danny "Boonie" Boatright, Lukas Boatright, Jerry King and Tony King.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
