Chad Wildes, age 54, passed away December 14, 2025, at St. Vincent in Jacksonville, FL after a brief illness. He was born in Bacon County on July 11, 1971, to the late Marcell Wildes and Mary Andrews Wildes. He is preceded in death by his wife, Tonya Carter Wildes.

He is survived by his daughter, Brittany Lewis (Ottis) of Alma; sons, Cody Wildes of Tifton and Gaino Wildes (Audrey) of Indiana; four grandchildren, Athena and Aurora Wildes, Anabella and James Lewis; and brother, Trampous Wildes of Alma.

A memorial graveside service will be held Friday December 19, 2025, at Wolf Pit Church Cemetery at 12 PM with Rev. Vic Peacock officiating.
