Charlie Nell Mullis, 76, of St. Mary's, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2014 at her residence following a short illness.
Born September 23, 1938 in Alma, Georgia, and was the daughter of the late Warren and Pauline Lee. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Billy Mullis, son, James Leslie "Catfish" Mullis, father and mother in law, Tessell and Mildred Mullis, and sister in law, Jane Daughtery.
Mrs. Mullis had resided in Camden County for the past 48 years, and was a member of Westside Baptist Church. She always helped others in anyway she could and loved gardening.
Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Mullis of St. Mary's; grandsons, Brandon Mullis (Michelle) of St. Mary's and Josh Carter of TN; great-grandson, Bentley Mullis; sister, Johnnie Dell DeLettre (Gerald) of Nicholls, brother, Sammy Lee (Debbie) of Nicholls; sister in law, Dianne King (Johnny) of Nicholls and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held Monday, December 29th at Allison Memorial Chapel in St. Mary's, Georgia from 5 PM to 7 PM.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 30th at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Jerald Douglas officiating and a eulogy given by Regina Swinson. Interment will follow in Lee's Chapel Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home one hour before the funeral.
Allison Memorial Chapel and Funeral Home in St. Mary's and Crosby Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
