Cindy Leann Whitley, age 42, of Nicholls passed away suddenly at her residence on Sunday, October 3, 2021. She was born in Bacon County on June 1, 1979 to Jimmy Sidney Whitley and Wanda Lee Strickland Whitley. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Donna Escamilla.

Survivors include two sons, Noah Starling and Whitley Whitley of Nicholls; two brothers, Clint Whitley (Cammie) and Sid Whitley (Carla) of Nicholls.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev Matt Tuttle officiating. Interment will follow in Whitley Family cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral Wednesday from 1:00 PM until funeral time.

Active pallbearers will be; Noah Starling, Luke Hyers, Chandler Whitley, Jeff Smith and Clint Whitley.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
