Clara Elizabeth Rogers Carter, age 79, passed away May 21, 2025, after an extended illness. She is the daughter of the late Rafael Rogers and Mable Lindsey Rogers. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Curtis Carter and one brother, Junior Rogers.

She is survived by three sons, Edward Allen Watford (Denise) of Alma, Gary Lee Watford (Wanda) of FL, Richard Steven Watford (Kelly) of TN. One brother, Buddy Carter of Rentz, GA. Thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren also survive.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
