Obituary
Clenton Henry Jarrard of Alma died on Thursday July 24 at Bacon County Hospital. He was a beloved member of Alma and Bacon County for most of his life and a respected member and deacon of Big Creek Baptist Church. Other interests included volunteer firefighting with the Bennett Still Fire Department and owning and operating the Murphy and Jarrard Small Engine Repair Shop.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Betty Hood Jarrard, daughter Brenda Ann Jarrard, and sister Carolyn Jarrard Wood. A memorial service will be held on Saturday July 26 at 11 am at Big Creek Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Big Creek Baptist Church, PO Box 306, Alma, GA 31510
Crosby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
