Cleo Taylor Douglas, age 88, of Alma passed away Friday August 11, 2017 at Twin Oaks Nursing Home after and extended illness. Cleo was a native of Bacon County, a member of Pine Level Baptist Church, and the daughter of the late Millie and Adie Rigdon Taylor. Cleo was also preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Hoyt Douglas, a son Danny Douglas, a daughter Sandy Hardwick, brothers C.L., Alco, and Benny Taylor, and a sister Yudale Jenkins.

Survivors include 4 sons Vann Douglas (Carolyn) of Alma, Jimmy Douglas (Elaine) of Denton, Sidney Douglas of Alma, and Andy Douglas of Alma. 5 grandchildren and 5 great-children also survive.

Funeral services will be held Sunday August 13, 2017 at 2 PM at the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Pet Hayes officiating. Internment will be at Pine Level Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers include Randy and Robert Douglas, Billy Shores, Robert Taylor, Kevin Hand, and Chance Bradley. Honorary pallbearers are the staff of Twin Oaks Nursing Home. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Saturday night from 6-9 PM.
