Clinton C. Westberry, age 79, of Baxley passed away Monday, July 29, 2024 at Appling Healthcare after a short illness.

He was a native of Appling County and son of the late Andrew C. Westberry, Sr. and Mary Emma Smith Westberry. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Andrew C. Westberry and six sisters, Myra Crummey, Anna Harris, Mildred Boatright, Deloris Gribble and Dora White and Florine Boatright.

Mr. Westberry  served in the United States Navy, was a retired Truck Driver and a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Alma.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Betty Jo Carter Westberry of Baxley; two sons, James Westberry (Tammy) of Baxley and Gregg Westberry (Tina) of Kingsland; sister, Mary Lee Williamson (Harold) of Baxley; 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 1, 2024 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Browning and Pastor Lynn Music officiating. Interment will follow in Roxie Mae Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Thursday morning from 10:00 AM until service time.

Active pallbearers will be Melvin Carter, Mark Carter, Kayne Hodges, Russell Peacock, Andrew Allen Peacock and Donald Carter. Honorary pallbearers will be Elaine Williams, Regina Davis and Kim Boatright and all others in attendance.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
